Photography is often described as a blend of art and science, but at its heart, it leans more toward art. The scientific aspects—such as understanding exposure, lighting, camera settings, and composition rules—can certainly be taught, learned, and mastered with practice. However, the artistic side of photography goes far beyond technical knowledge. It involves perception, emotion, creativity, and the ability to see meaning in ordinary moments.
