Hello
I am an Electrical Engineering graduate (1994) with a long-standing fascination for gadgets and machines. This curiosity eventually led me to discover my interest in photography, and I began my journey with my first camera, a Cosina C1s in the year 2000

Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work in the tribal regions of Thane district of Maharashtra, which offered a rich and unique visual environment. However, limited knowledge of photography at that time prevented me from fully exploring this opportunity. This realization became a turning point, motivating me to systematically learn and develop my skills.

Over the years, I invested significant time in understanding the art and science of photography. My association with the Photographic Society of India, Mumbai, played an important role in shaping my approach and refining my perspective. With the advent of digital photography and the growth of internet resources, I was able to further enhance my capabilities, including image editing and professional lighting techniques. Gradually, this transformed the way I observed and captured the world around me.

As my journey progressed, I began participating in photography competitions. What once seemed like a distant possibility—earning acceptances and medals—became achievable through consistent effort and continuous learning. Over time, I was honored with distinctions such as EFIAP (France), EFIP (FIP India), and LPSI (Photographic Society of India).

During the COVID period, I started mentoring students in photography and image editing, sharing knowledge gained through years of practice and guidance from experienced photographers. I continue to believe that growth in this field is a continuous process, shaped by dedication, observation, and the willingness to learn from others.

I strongly believe that every individual is endowed with a unique form of artistic potential. It may vary in degree, but it exists within all of us. Our responsibility is to discover that innate talent and nurture it with dedication and consistent effort, in order to achieve meaningful and fulfilling results.
